Buy Zimbabwe is set to host the Buy Zimbabwe 10th Anniversary Awards on the 7th of May 2021. The awards celebrate local companies that have promoted the production and consumption of local products and services.
The organisers say the awards recognise remarkable leadership, commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies over the past ten years.
“Buy Zimbabwe, will be hosting the 10th Anniversary Awards on the 7th of May 2021 at Rainbow Towers Hotel In Harare.
“The awards seek to celebrate local companies who have contributed and shaped the Zimbabwean economy and are visionaries behind today’s outstanding businesses.
“Winners of the Awards demonstrate resilience and commitment in creating jobs, reducing the import bill and raising the Zimbabwean flag,” said Buy Zimbabwe General Manager Alois Burutsa.
The event will see the launch of the Great Zimbabwe brands campaign under which the organization is calling upon citizens to submit short video clips, WhatsApp audios, text messages or call in highlighting their memories of Great Zimbabwean brands.
According to the organisers, those with interesting stories will stand a chance to win lots of prizes and will be featured on different platforms including television and radio.
