Organizers of the 8th edition of the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke have confirmed that everything is set for the three-day cycling event, which kicks off tomorrow at Selous near Chegutu.

Spokesperson Moses Charedzera told Great Dyke News that more than 100 cyclists are expected to take part in the tour, which will see participants ride through Chegutu, Kadoma, Kwekwe, Gweru, and Shurugwi before concluding in Zvishavane on Saturday.

The Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke is an annual event that blends sport, social responsibility, and economic development along Zimbabwe’s Great Dyke. It raises funds for the Gifted Children Foundation, supporting underprivileged children, while also promoting wellness and creating business opportunities in mining communities. The tour covers approximately 328 kilometers over three days.

Charedzera expressed excitement for the event, emphasizing its growing popularity and significance for both participants and local communities along the route.
