Sengezo Tshabangu, self-proclaimed Interim Secretary General of the Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC), has brought forward allegations of widespread corruption within the opposition political party. In a recent interview, Tshabangu expressed serious concerns about the lack of transparency regarding financial matters within the party.Tshabangu claimed that there is no proper record or accountability for the funds donated to the CCC, raising questions about the whereabouts and utilization of the money. Notably, he pointed out the absence of a treasurer within the party structure, further fueling suspicions of financial mismanagement Tshabangu vehemently denied allegations that he is colluding with the ruling Zanu PF party to assist in securing a 2/3 majority in parliament. He dismissed such accusations as baseless.Sengezo Tshabangu is a Zimbabwean politician. He claimed to be the interim Secretary General of the Citizens Coalition for Change and in October 2023, he recalled fifteen parliamentarians and seventeen councilors, including Masvingo’s mayor, citing they were no longer party members in October.The matter remains in the courts.
