The “Made in Zimbabwe Summit and Expo,” organized by Buy Zimbabwe, is set to take place on the 22nd and 23rd of November respectively this year. Alois Burutsa, General Manager of Buy Zimbabwe, spoke to Great Dyke News about the event’s objectives and significance.
Burutsa emphasized that the summit aims to highlight the best of Zimbabwe’s manufacturing capabilities.
“This event is a showcase of products made in Zimbabwe, demonstrating our manufacturing prowess and quality,” he stated.
Buy Zimbabwe says it will invite President Emmerson Mnangagwa to be the guest of honor at the summit, underscoring the event’s importance. The Made in Zimbabwe Summit and Expo is exclusively focused on Zimbabwean-made products. “Our goal is to appreciate and promote the quality products being produced locally,” Burutsa noted.
The summit aims to open new markets for Zimbabwean products, providing the necessary support for local manufacturers to expand and thrive. By fostering a platform dedicated solely to homegrown products, Buy Zimbabwe hopes to bolster the local economy and encourage investment in Zimbabwe’s manufacturing sector.
