CEO Africa Roundtable is set to host the Virtual CEOs Roundtable from 26-27 August 2020 under the theme “Leading in the New Normal”.
According to a statement released to Great DykeNews24, the virtual round table will bring together 200 private sector executives, senior government and entrepreneurs from different sectors.
“Having taken hold of physical conferences, worldwide, the Covid-19 pandemic has pulverized almost all annual physical conferences and organisations have adopted massive use of online platforms.
The statement added that CEO Africa Roundtable has invited renowned, high powered speakers and industry practitioners from across the world.
“Going forward, the aim is to make it one of the most important events on the African business calendar enabling participants to exchange their views and opinions on the issues affecting the economic development of the continent’s companies.
“In keeping up with the aims of the CEO Africa Roundtable, the virtual roundtable will enable participants to attend it from anywhere in the world and contribute to top-level debates on how to foster conditions favourable to the strategic development of the continent leading businesses.
“Leading and managing in a dynamic and uncertain global market being transformed by the impact of the corona pandemic, the fourth industrial revolution, changes in demographic trends, increasing competition, shifting customer tastes and demands require bold, innovative and visionary leadership from both business and government alike.
“Now it is important to keep a clear mind and purposefully navigate through these uncertain times. In line with moving towards embracing a new mindset for responding to the new challenges.
The multi-day roundtable will address rapidly evolving models for business in all sectors and offer opportunities to gather insights, deliberations,” reads the statement.
CEO Africa Roundtable (CEO-ART) is a high-level platform for Corporate Chief Executive Officers and Senior Executives, in both public and the private sector created to advance economic development across Africa.
