In the midst of a cholera outbreak sweeping the nation, passengers are strongly advised against traveling if feeling unwell. Passengers Association of Zimbabwe President Tafadzwa Goliath highlighted the urgent need for council authorities to prioritize the upkeep of bus terminus toilets, citing their deplorable conditions as potential catalysts for increased cholera cases in urban areas.
Speaking to Great Dyke News Goliath underscored that the lack of clean public facilities has resulted in passengers resorting to unsanitary alternatives while traveling, posing a significant risk of cholera.
