Court Dismisses RioZim’s Claim Over 200 Mining Rights to Zimbabwe National Army.

RioZim has lost over 200 mining claims to the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) following the High Court’s dismissal of its application.


The court found the application defective, as RioZim’s affidavit was deemed invalid due to corporate rescue proceedings affecting the company’s legal standing.

The dispute involved claims in Darwendale, Mashonaland West, where RioZim contended that its Wendale 42 and 43 Block claims were improperly re-designated as a military zone.
