A dramatic armed robbery unfolded in Ngundu on November 25, 2024, as four pistol-wielding suspects stormed a money transfer outlet, making off with a jaw-dropping haul of US$46,349 and ZAR 924,100 in cash.
The robbers ambushed the shop’s teller on his way home after work, forcing him back into the outlet at gunpoint. Under intense pressure, the victim was compelled to open the safe, enabling the thieves to execute their brazen heist.
