Hard Rock coach Kelvin Kaindu is cautiously optimistic as his side continues preparations for their trip to Nyamhunga Stadium, where they will face a plucky ZPC Kariba in a crucial Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter on Saturday.
ZPC Kariba come into the match in good form and boast an impressive home record. Last week they edged an out-of-sorts Manica Diamonds 1–0 away at Gibbo Stadium, while Hard Rock settled for a goalless draw against champions Scotland FC at home.
“So far, in terms of our match preparations, I think we are okay,” said the Zambian gaffer. “Yes, we’re traveling to Nyamhunga, and I think they’re a good team, especially when they play at home. Last year they had a very well-organized defence, conceding relatively few goals in the league, and they picked up a lot of points playing at home.
“We know it’s not going to be an easy game, but we just want to focus on our approach as we go and play away.”
