Emakhandeni-Luveve legislator, Descent Bajila, has strongly criticized the Zimbabwean government’s allocation for the energy sector in the national budget, claiming it demonstrates a lack of seriousness in addressing the country’s ongoing electricity crisis.

Speaking recently, Bajila described the proposed allocation of Z$295 million to the energy sector as insufficient, stating, “That is a sign that we are not serious about resolving the crisis.”
