Legislators in the Great Dyke say government and parliament will intervene in the Shabanie Mine employee-employer dispute but all parties involved have to act within the legal boundaries.
Speaking to Great Dyke News 24 Shurugwi South legislator who is also the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Mines Chairperson Honourable Edmund Mkaratigwa said the issue has to be tackled well with a balance to promote investment as well as protecting social development.
He also said workers need to be protected but all parties involved must be seen to adhere to legal provision to avoid painting a negative picture for would-be investors.
