A 36-year-old man tragically lost his life following a violent altercation at Neyi Village under Chief Malisa in Silobela. The incident occurred in the early hours of December 7, 2024, during a drinking session.
Speaking to Great Dyke News ZRP Midlands spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said Khulekani Madambi Sibanda (39) accused Forward Neyi (23) of having an extramarital affair with his wife, sparking a heated argument that escalated into a fistfight.
Themba Ntini (36), who attempted to intervene, was struck with a broken beer bottle by Sibanda.
