The Zimbabwe Republic Police have arrested the ring leader of a machete and okapi knife brandishing gang whose video is circulating on the social media.
According to the ZRP national spokesperson Assistant Inspector Paul Nyathi, the suspect was arrested in connection with the murder of constable Hokoyo at Battlefields recently.
He added that the accused was also on the police wanted list for attempted murder and other violent crimes.
“Lloyd Kasena (24) a member of the notorious Maziga gang was arrested in connection with the murder of Constable Hokoyo at Battlefields. He was also on the police wanted list for attempted murder, robbery and assault.
“The suspect is a ring leader of a machete and okapi knife brandishing gang circulating on the social media. He will appear in court soon,” he said.
