Zimbabwe faces concerns over a potential rise in unwanted pregnancies following the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe’s (MCAZ) recall of substandard contraceptive pills.
The recalled pills, a South African-manufactured product, were flagged as part of a precautionary measure after similar issues were identified in neighboring countries.
MCAZ spokesperson Davison Kaiyo confirmed the development, urging affected users to stop using the recalled products and seek advice from healthcare providers.
