Mimosa emerged as champions of the 2024 Chamber of Mines Inter Mines Golf Tournament, commonly known as the Jumbo Golf Tournament. This year’s edition, hosted by Kuvimba Mining House (KMH) at the picturesque Hillside Golf Course in Mutare, is a flagship event in the Chamber’s annual calendar.
Following their historic win, FC Platinum President and a member of the victorious team, Dr. Blessing Garamumhango, expressed immense pride in their achievement. Speaking to Great Dyke News, he praised the team’s dedication.
“This is our first win in the tournament’s history, and we are incredibly proud to be named the best. The team gave their all to secure this victory.”
Chamber of Mines CEO Isaac Kwesu highlighted the importance of the tournament, emphasizing that it serves as a crucial platform for networking, exchanging ideas on enhancing mining operations, and addressing industry policy matters.
Mimosa will have the honor of hosting the next edition of the prestigious tournament as the reigning champions.
