President Emmerson Mnangagwa has commended the country’s ongoing infrastructure development efforts for creating employment opportunities and fostering business growth.
Speaking at the official commissioning of the Public Service Commission’s Varsity Heights student accommodation facility in Chinhoyi recently, he emphasized how such projects not only provide housing but also generate jobs and empower local communities.
The President noted that youth and women were employed during the construction process, while numerous downstream businesses and small to medium enterprises were engaged to supply essential materials, reflecting the government’s commitment to inclusive economic growth, wealth creation, and empowerment.
This broader push for infrastructure development is part of the administration’s vision to spur national progress by providing opportunities across various sectors.
