The Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke received a rousing welcome in Kadoma, where enthusiastic residents turned out in large numbers to cheer on the cyclists as they spread messages of wellness, charity, and opportunity.
The lively stopover saw the peloton mixing and mingling with community members, with local councillors leading the reception in a show of unity and pride along the Great Dyke corridor.
Kadoma residents celebrated the tour’s arrival with music, dancing, and words of encouragement for the riders — a reflection of the event’s growing popularity and impact beyond sport.
The cyclists then set their sights on Kwekwe, the “City of Gold” and home to Hardrock FC and Gold Metal Investments, as the 2025 edition of the tour continues its three-day journey promoting health, development, and social impact across Zimbabwe’s mineral-rich heartland.
