Firebrand opposition figure Job Sikhala reignited his feud with Zanu PF during a charged address at a recent book launch, accusing the ruling party of spreading “stupid political guidance” and losing relevance among Zimbabweans.
In an emotional and at times scathing speech, Sikhala dismissed narratives being pushed by the ruling party and its aligned operatives, saying they were peddling propaganda suggesting that opposition political movement was finished.
“What is dead? What is dead is their mother and them — the Zanu PF Varakashi,” Sikhala declared, accusing the group of projecting their own irrelevance onto his cause. “They are bound and despised by the hearts and minds of our people, like never before.”
The former MP and longtime opposition activist went on to claim that 99% of Zimbabweans no longer want to hear about the ruling party.
