On January 3, 2025, detectives from CID Chivhu arrested Learnmore Nyagumbo (33), Makuwerere James Nyagumbo (31), and Courage Chenzara (20) for unlawfully cultivating seven plants of dagga at Plot 24 Vergnoek Farm, Featherstone.
In a separate operation, Peter Zambara (40) was apprehended at Highglen Bus Terminus, Harare, for possession of 300 bottles of Broncleer Cough Syrup, which he had collected from a cross-border bus, Crestlink Motors. The police continue their efforts to combat illegal drug activities.
