Police Investigate Motor Vehicle Thefts in Zvishavane.

Zvishavane police are investigating two motor vehicle thefts involving a Toyota Funcargo and a Toyota Noah, both reported stolen on October 15, 2024, in separate incidents.

Speaking to Great Dyke News ZRP Midlands spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the first theft occurred at around 10:00 PM in Izayi Park. 

Julius Biggie, 32, parked his Toyota Funcargo in his yard and retired for the night. The following morning, he discovered the vehicle was missing. It was later recovered abandoned in Mandava after developing a tyre puncture.

He said in the second incident, Sheunopa Mashavidze, 40, from Makwasha, parked his grey Toyota Noah (registration number AEM 2219) in his yard around 7:00 PM before leaving for work.

Upon his return the next morning at 7:00 AM, the vehicle was gone and remains unaccounted for.

Police are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of the Toyota Noah.
