In a special ceremony on Monday, the Multi-Aid Support Organization (MASO) honored Gweru businesswoman and philanthropist, Prof Smelly Dube, as their Brand Goodwill Ambassador.
This recognition comes for her ongoing support, including monthly donations of groceries, teacher salaries, and renovations at the MASO Children’s Center in Mkoba.
Prof Dube also pledged to donate chairs and tables for the children as the classroom refurbishment nears completion.
Senator Annah Shiri praised Prof Dube’s philanthropy, which is transforming lives by sending children to university and building homes for the marginalized.
MASO’s board chair, Dr. Victor Wasara, also expressed gratitude for the support from all stakeholders.
