Reinstated Deputy Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Simelisizwe Sibanda, hailed President Emmerson Mnangagwa as a “forgiving father” during a media briefing at State House.
Sibanda, who was dismissed last month following a controversial public reprimand of a Shona-speaking teacher, was sworn back into office by the President today.
“The President’s decision to reinstate me underscores his magnanimity and dedication to unity,” Sibanda stated. “It shows we have a forgiving father who prioritizes the greater good over individual mistakes.”
