The Passenger’s Association has issued a crucial advisory urging travelers to prioritize daytime journeys during this festive season.
In an exclusive interview with The Great Dyke News, Tafadzwa Goliath, President of the Passengers Association of Zimbabwe, emphasized the importance of opting for daytime travel when using public transportation. Goliath highlighted the risks associated with night travel, urging people to avoid it due to increased incidents of robbery and theft, particularly in private cars.
Goliath pointed out a concerning trend where robbers are utilizing private vehicles for their illicit activities, advising passengers to prefer vehicles with identifiable red plates for enhanced safety measures.
In a bid to safeguard pedestrians, Goliath stressed the avoidance of nighttime strolls during the festive period to mitigate the risk of becoming victims of robbery.
