As YA FM marks its 9th anniversary, Munyaradzi Hwengwere, Chairman of MERJKH Holdings, has unveiled ambitious plans for the construction of the “Great Dyke Mall,” which will become the future home of the regional broadcaster in Zvishavane as it approaches its 10th anniversary.
Speaking to Great Dyke News, Hwengwere emphasized that YA FM remains committed to its Zvishavane roots, while also expanding its presence across more areas of the Great Dyke region. He noted that the mall will symbolize the station’s growth over the past decade and create new opportunities for the community.
“YA FM is not leaving Zvishavane, but rather broadening its horizons. The Great Dyke Mall will be a testament to our development and a platform for further expansion,” Hwengwere said.
YA FM’s 9th-anniversary celebrations will take place this Saturday, September 28, at the Palawani Lakeworld Resort. The event will feature the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development, Dr. Anxious Masuka, as the guest of honor.
