The Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, Tatenda Mavetera, has clarified that individuals in Zimbabwe can still import Starlink kits for themselves, signaling a major advancement in the country’s bid to enhance internet connectivity.

Speaking at the launch of Starlink reseller Aura Group Pvt Limited recently, Minister Mavetera highlighted the government’s commitment to broadening access to digital services.

Starlink, a satellite internet constellation developed by SpaceX, offers high-speed, low-latency broadband internet, particularly in areas where conventional infrastructure is inadequate or unavailable. The introduction of Starlink kits is expected to bridge the digital divide in Zimbabwe, allowing more communities to tap into online opportunities.
