Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has raised alarm over a growing trend of crimes targeting unsuspecting passengers who board unregistered public transport. Authorities warn that criminals are taking advantage of informal transport systems to rob, assault, or even abduct passengers.

She also cautioned motorists against picking up unknown passengers, as this has led to cases of carjackings and robberies.
The ZRP continues to encourage the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious transport operators to law enforcement.
