Seventeen people, including two Britons and one Finn, are missing after the tourist boat Sea Story sank near Marsa Alam, Egypt, in the Red Sea. Twenty-eight others were rescued.
The vessel, carrying 31 tourists and 14 Egyptian crew members, capsized early Monday, reportedly after being struck by a wave. The Egyptian Navy and Air Force are leading search efforts.
Meteorological warnings had forecast rough seas with high winds and waves up to four meters. The Sea Story, built in 2022 and operated by Dive Pro Liveaboard, was on a five-day diving trip.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the incident while providing medical care to survivors.
