The Zimbabwean Embassy in South Africa is working with local authorities to identify any Zimbabweans involved in the Buffelsfontein Mine disaster in Stilfontein.
87 people, mostly illegal miners, died. The embassy is screening 465 undocumented nationals and conducting DNA tests to identify victims.
Zimbabweans with missing relatives are urged to contact the consulate for assistance.
