The Minister of Finance and Economic Development Professor Mthuli Ncube, has urged institutions of higher and tertiary education in Zimbabwe to establish dedicated entrepreneurship centers to equip students with essential entrepreneurial skills.
Speaking at the launch of the National Venture Capital Company of Zimbabwe (NVCCZ) in Harare, Minister Ncube emphasized the importance of fostering innovation and self-sufficiency among students, encouraging them to explore entrepreneurial avenues.
The Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship projects, particularly through the NVCCZ, which aims to provide capital and resources to start-ups and innovative ventures. This initiative is part of a broader effort to drive economic growth by nurturing a new generation of entrepreneurs across the country.
