US-Russia Talks Begin in Saudi Arabia.

High-level talks between US and Russian delegations have commenced in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aiming to restore diplomatic relations and discuss a potential resolution to the Ukraine conflict.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio are leading their respective teams. While Ukraine and its EU allies are not involved, Russia seeks to lay the groundwork for a settlement, with Moscow advocating for Ukraine’s permanent neutrality and territorial recognition.

Ukrainian President Zelensky has dismissed the talks, stating they would yield no results.
