Miner Representatives Urge Support for Persons with Disabilities at MINEX 2025.

Miner representatives have emphasized the importance of including Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in mining expos such as MINEX, highlighting the role these events play in providing exposure and key lessons to aid their growth in the industry.


Speaking to Great Dyke News, mining advocate Marufu stressed that platforms like MINEX are essential for empowering PWDs with a passion for mining.



He urged mining companies operating in different parts of the Great Dyke to actively support and sponsor PWDs to attend such crucial industry gatherings.



“It is vital for Persons with Disabilities to participate in mining expos they provide access to critical knowledge, industry trends, and networking opportunities that can enhance their growth in the sector,” said Marufu.


MINEX 2025, scheduled for April 3 at Gresham Grounds in Zvishavane, is set to be bigger than ever, bringing together key players in the mining industry. Under the theme “Driving Sustainable Mining Growth,” the event will focus on vital issues such as safety, environmental management, and taxation policies.


Industry leaders, mining experts, and stakeholders will converge to explore innovations, share insights, and influence policies shaping the mining sector. The expo offers a unique opportunity for participants to connect with experts, discover new technologies, and contribute to the future of sustainable mining in Zimbabwe.
