The Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke peloton has arrived in Kwekwe, where an enthusiastic crowd gathered at Pick n Pay to welcome the cyclists as they concluded another spirited leg of the 2025 edition.
In a major highlight of the stopover, Nedbank Zimbabwe announced that the tour will return to the City of Gold in 2026, reaffirming its long-term commitment to the Great Dyke communities and to promoting wellness, opportunity, and charity through sport.
The Kwekwe leg capped off a vibrant day that saw the cyclists traverse from Kadoma, where they were warmly received by residents and local leaders, to Martin Spur Secondary School, where they inspired students and delivered book donations courtesy of Men for Equality.
The peloton will rest overnight in Kwekwe before continuing their journey to Gweru tomorrow morning, as the three-day event progresses towards its grand finale in Zvishavane on November 8.
The 2025 Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke, themed “Riding for Opportunity, Wellness and Charity,” continues to shine as a symbol of unity, endurance, and social responsibility along Zimbabwe’s mineral-rich heartland.
