The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on October 19, 2024, at around 2:00 AM in Mumvuri, Shurugwi.
Four male suspects, armed with machetes and an axe, attacked a security guard at a financial institution before stealing US$5,010 and ZAR23,900. They proceeded to a wholesale shop, stealing an additional US$1,085 stored in a metal box.
The robbers also broke into an agro-chemical shop, assaulting the occupant and taking US$30 and a Huawei P30 phone.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the nearest police station.
