The Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe (CoMZ) has appointed Golden Reef Chief Executive Officer Thomas Gono as president taking over from Unki Mine Chief Financial Officer Collin Chibafa.
Gono has been appointed as CoMZ president at the ongoing Chamber of Mines Annual Conference taking place in Victoria Falls.
ZIMASCO Chief Executive Officer John Musekiwa has been appointed First Vice President and Kuvimba Mining Technical Director Munashe Shava is the second Vice President.
The Chamber of Mines Annual Conference kickstarted yesterday , running under the theme ‘Mining for Economic Transformation Creating Growth Enablers for Our Mining Industry’.
