CID Operation Leads to Arrest of Fraud Suspect Using Fake Certificate for College Enrollment

On the 5th of March, 2024, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Braeside executed a proactive operation based on credible intelligence, resulting in the apprehension of Margaret Nyapimbi (36) in relation to a fraud case.

In a statement the ZRP said Nyapimbi allegedly employed a counterfeit Zimbabwe School Examination Council Certificate to fraudulently obtain enrollment at Morgen Zintec Teachers College.

Subsequent to the suspect’s arrest, law enforcement successfully recovered the forged certificate.
