The Gweru City Council has expanded its fire department with the acquisition of three additional fire tenders, courtesy of Devolution funds allocated by the Central government.
The commissioning of these new assets was marked by a statement from the Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Affairs, Owen Ncube, who stressed the imperative for the council to prioritize addressing the issue of inadequate water supply.
