Zororo Makamba’s friend who reportedly came in contact with him at a nightclub has been tested negative, Great Dyke News 24 can report.
According to reliable sources, the friend who works at Mimosa mine in Zvishavane is still on self-quarantine but he has been tested and the results came out negative.
Great Dyke News 24 also established that Makamba also did not address students at the Midlands State University, as alleged on social media.
According to the sources, the encounter which lasted for not more than 30 seconds was in the form of a fist bump greeting.
Makamba is the first Zimbabwean to succumb to Covid-19.
He died on Monday and was buried on Tuesday.
