Organisations advocating for people living with disabilities are calling on the government to make clear policies that are informed by consultations.
In a telephone interview with Great Dyke News 24’s Nomthandazo Ndlovu, Leonard Cheshire Zimbabwe Trust programmes co-ordinator Innocent Chimonyo said people in different areas may not require the same needs.
People living with disabilities are significantly disadvantaged with regards to transport, and justice among other things as most facilities are poorly equipped to handle their needs.
