Manica Bikes has officially partnered with the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke 2025 as the Official Bike Partner and sponsor, a collaboration that underscores shared values of wellness, opportunity, and community empowerment across the Great Dyke region.

Under the partnership, Manica Bikes’ team of expert technicians will provide full technical support to all cyclists participating in the three-day endurance event. The move is aimed at ensuring smooth operations throughout the tour while promoting long-term engagement with cycling as both a sport and a lifestyle.

Speaking on the development, Manica Bikes Sales and Marketing Officer, Herbert Dzonge, said the company is excited to contribute to one of Zimbabwe’s premier cycling events.

“Manica Bikes is excited to partner with YAFM and the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke 2025 as the Official Bike Partner. We will be providing full technical support to all cyclists throughout the event,” said Dzonge. “As the tour moves through communities, we will also be exhibiting our range of bicycles and motorcycles, giving locals a chance to experience the quality and innovation behind the Manica Bikes brand.”

Now in its eighth edition, the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke has become a flagship event bringing together cyclists from mining companies, local communities, and the general public. The 2025 edition will run from 6–8 November, covering the traditional route that stretches from Selous to Zvishavane, traversing the mineral-rich Great Dyke belt.

Beyond the thrill of competition, the tour maintains a strong charitable focus. Proceeds from the event will once again support the Gifted Children Foundation, which assists academically talented but underprivileged children from the Great Dyke region and beyond.

Welcoming the new partnership, Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke and YAFM Projects Manager, Ebson Hungwe, said Manica Bikes’ involvement would strengthen both participation and wellness outcomes.

“We are thrilled to have Manica Bikes joining the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke family,” Hungwe said. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision of promoting wellness, inclusivity, and community development through sport. Their initiative to offer technical support will enhance this year’s event and strengthen the overall cycling culture in Zimbabwe.”

A trusted name in mobility solutions, Manica Bikes supplies bicycles, motorbikes, spare parts, and accessories to a broad clientele that includes individuals, corporates, NGOs, and UN agencies. Its products are renowned for durability, reliability, and versatility, often serving in challenging environments for transportation, healthcare delivery, and rural development.

As anticipation builds for the 2025 Tour, the partnership signals a powerful synergy between sport, business, and social impact — a ride for wellness, endurance, and purpose.
