A startling incident occurred early this morning at the Nyoni family homestead in Goremasava, Mataga, when a man was found naked, wearing only boxer shorts. Local children discovered the man around 5 AM, causing panic in the community.
Family members who confronted the man learned he claimed to be from Masvingo, several hours away, and was apparently injured. He expressed a strange desire for the family to accept him, stating, “That’s the only way you would accept me, because if I was dressed, you wouldn’t.”
The man, later identified as Admire Ndlovhu, was reportedly beaten and pleaded for help, revealing he had been assaulted in various places. Gweru police confirmed the situation and transported him to the hospital for treatment.
Inspector Mahoko confirmed that while Ndlovhu could not provide much information, his name was the only detail he remembered. Authorities are asking anyone who may be looking for him to contact local police or the hospital.
