Yesterday marked a significant milestone as the Runde Rural District Council conducted the official swearing-in ceremony for its newly elected Councilors. The event, presided over by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Gorden Moyo.
Speaking to Great Dyke News, Mr. Gorden Moyo, the Chief Executive Officer of the Runde Rural District Council, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the 19 newly elected Councilors. He expressed his confidence that they would serve as diligent representatives of their respective wards, working tirelessly to address the needs and concerns of the local residents.
Mr. Moyo also took the opportunity to extend his warm congratulations and a heartfelt welcome to those elected to be part of the Women’s Court. He emphasized the importance of their role in promoting gender inclusivity within the council.
