The Zimbabwe Miners Federation has reinstated Henrietta Rushwaya as their president with immediate effect, Great Dyke News 24 reports.
Speaking to GreatDykeNews24, ZMF Chief Executive Officer Wellington Takavarasha confirmed the development saying they are now working towards lines of action for 2021.
“The Executive met today and it was a full quorun except one apology, so we unanimously reinstated her forthwith beginning today and any other issues will follow up in terms of rolling out plans for 2021,” he said.
The Federation stated that the suspension was not lawful and that it is the duty of the National Executive not of the General Council (Management Committee) to suspend her.
