In commemoration of this year’s International Women’s Day, the Young Women Christian Alliance (YWCA) emphasized the importance of engaging youth in various activities, recognizing them as the future of the nation.
During an interview with Clement Mhauli, Gein Munyamani, the National Vice President of the Young Women Christian Association, stressed the significance of women’s involvement in nation-building efforts.
Munyamani also urged young girls to prioritize completing their education and securing employment to avoid dependency.
This year’s celebrations are held under the theme “Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress,” highlighting the crucial role of investing in women’s empowerment to drive societal advancement.
