It has come to our attention that a cunning fraudster, operating under the name “Wonder Chakanetsa Chitau” and residing at 745 Nyamhunga 2, Kariba, has been wreaking havoc within our community. This individual has been using deceptive practices, targeting innocent citizens and businesspeople through WhatsApp and various money transfer platforms.
The fraudster’s modus operandi involves enticing victims with fish orders via WhatsApp group messages and advertisements (he uses the number +263 71 578 6000), but with a catch – payment must be made in advance. Once the payment is sent, the victims find themselves blocked, unable to contact the fraudster ever again, and left with substantial financial losses.
Ya FM’s investigative team has been looking into this disheartening matter, uncovering tales of deceit and financial strain among victims. However, we need your help to bring this fraudster to justice and prevent further victims from falling prey to his deceitful tactics.
