The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating the death of a 20-year-old man in Nkayi, who was assaulted in a misunderstanding over a cellphone charger.
In a statement, the ZRP reported that on the 19th of August 2020 a misunderstanding culminated into an assault where the 20-year-old man later succumbed to injuries on the 28th of the same month.
It added that the perpetrator, in this case, a female adult aged 21-year-old struck the victim on the leg with an iron bar and a burning log which led to his death.
Meanwhile, in Bulawayo, the police reported that a 11-year-old boy lost his life when he was electrocuted while searching for wild fruit.
