The Zimbabwe Republic Police has confirmed a murder case following the discovery of a 22-year-old man’s body at Musasa Business Centre in Shurugwi.
Speaking to Great Dyke News, ZRP Midlands spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the incident occurred on 21 November 2024 at approximately 0045 hours.
He indicated that Isaac Jonasi, the informant, found the body while parking his vehicle near his shop.
Upon police inspection, the body was found to have a deep cut on the back of the head and a swollen forehead. A blood-stained log was recovered beside the body. The deceased has been identified as Tichaona Madzivire (22) of Edward Farm in Shurugwi.
Police are urging anyone with information regarding the assault to contact the nearest police station.
