The Risk Information and Communication Subcommittee of the #Covid19Zim Taskforce says it is satisfied that the immigration and health authorities have done enough to ensure travellers that use airports in Zimbabwe are safe from the pandemic and can be tested in quick time at the ports of entry.
Speaking after a tour to assess the implementation of guidelines and health protocols to curb against the spread of Covid-19 at RGM International Airport, the Taskforceās Co-Chairperson Minister Monica Mutsvangwa had this to say.
She also indicated that travellers can now be tested on arrival at the airports within 2 hours of arrival.
As at 12 October 2020, Zimbabwe had 8 021 confirmed cases, including 7 627 recoveries and 230 deaths.
