The bodies of two teenage boys who drowned in a chrome pit filled with water three days ago were retrieved in a decomposing state yesterday by a team of divers.
The deceased cousins, one who was doing upper 6 and the other one doing form 3 who drowned while taking a bath in one of the pits left uncovered by local chrome miners at Nganunu area under Chief Mapanzure were the sons of sisters from Magwayi family. Chief Mapanzure spoke to Great Dyke News.
He called on villagers and the nation at large to learn from this sad incident and not be taken for a ride by false prophets.
