The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced a new price schedule for fuel with petrol now costing ZWL$7.55 up from ZWL$7.47 while diesel is now selling at ZWL$7.22 up from ZWL$7.10.

Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe has liberalized fuel imports by allowing authorized dealers to pay directly to foreign fuel suppliers upon exchange control approval in a move meant to ease pressure on the government and improve the supply of the precious liquid.
