Passengers Association of Zimbabwe launches Anti-corruption Campaign

The Passengers Association of Zimbabwe has embarked on a zero tolerance to corruption campaign within the transport sector to ensure passenger safety.

In an interview with the Great Dyke News 24, the PAZ President Tafadzwa Goliath said the campaign will run under the theme “every voice counts.”

“Looking at the problems that we are facing when moving around; the roads being constructed by companies that are being given tenders to construct tarred roads are not lasting more than two years. These roads are now damaged, they are now leading to road accidents and robberies, “said Goliath.

He further said that as the Transport Association of Zimbabwe they also want to help the public by removing touts on the roads who deprive people of their rights by forcing them to board transport which they don’t want.
